This document is the result of research conducted as part of workpackage 1. It addresses a specific approach that responds to the general challenges of the BBSM project: the development of professional practices for reusing construction elements.
The document explores a few ways to support the development of reuse chains in Brussels-Capital Region, from deconstruction sites to the integration of these materials into new projects. It is aimed at designers, contractors, building owners, public administrations, political decision-makers, legislators, resellers of materials or demolition contractors.
The paper aims to portrait an inspiring picture of the role that reuse strategies could play in the construction sector in Brussels.
